Anna A. Bogdanova
Brief biography
Anna A. Bogdanova graduated from St. Petersburg State Technical University in 1994 holding a M.Sc in cybernetics and earned a degree of patent agent from Russian Institute of Intellectual Property. She is a registered patent and trademark attorney, licensed to practice before the Russian Patent and Trademark Office.
Following her first year of law school at St. Petersburg State University and until she received a LL.M. , Ms. Bogdanova worked as a trademark practitioner in a western intellectual property firm, where she learned the basics of trademark prosecution and gained experience in the area of industrial designs.
Being an associate with ARS-Patent from 1998 and based in St. Petersburg office, Ms. Bogdanova manages and obtains protection for domestic and international trademark portfolios with a focus on researching and analyzing Russian trademark and industrial designs matters. She is experienced in prosecuting and defending proceedings before the Russian Board of Appeals and Higher Patent Chamber, and counsels with respect to copyright and unfair competition issues.
Ms. Bogdanova has other career experience in lecturing to business and professional groups on trademark topics.
