Valentina V. Doschechkina
Brief biography
Valentina V. Doschechkina graduated from St. Petersburg State University (M.Sc., chemistry, 1981). Started her career as a chemical engineer, afterwards worked as a scientific researcher in the Institute of Macromolecular Compounds of the Russian Academy of Sciences and was particularly involved in investigation of biologically active compounds. She was developing new methods for preparation and analysis of high purity synthetic oligo- and polypeptides for use as pharmaceutically active compounds.
Mrs. Doschechkina qualified both as a Russian and a Eurasian patent attorney in 2003. Besides organic and inorganic chemistry, the main focus of her work lies in the fields of pharmaceutics, biochemistry, microbiology and biotechnology. She handles national and international patent applications, mostly on behalf of chemical and pharmaceutical companies. She is experienced in patent prosecution and litigation, more particularly in nullity actions before the Chamber of Patent Disputes of the Russian PTO.
