Leonid V. Konovalov
Brief biography
Leonid V. Konovalov received his M. Sc. Degree from the Fine Mechanic and Optic University of Saint-Petersburg. During many years his activities were directed towards applied and fundamental research in the fields of spectroscopy and spectroscopic instrumentation.
As significant part of his experience as a research scientist, Dr. Konovalov held research fellowships at the Vavilov State Optics Institute, from there he received his doctorate in physics and mathematics. He also hold several positions at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of Saint-Petersburg Technological University, acting both as a project leader and a senior researcher. His main interest encompasses infrared spectroscopy, structure chemistry of metal complex compounds and development of spectroscopic methods for structural analysis. In conjunction with his researches Dr. Konovalov has published more then 120 articles and has received a number of academic and industrial awards.
Based at Saint-Petersburg office of ARS-Patent, Dr. Konovalov provides strategic business counseling relating to all aspects of intellectual property, including licensing, patent validity and infringement analyses, as well as patent portfolio management. |
